<p>The summer I was at Tanglewood (assuming you’re talking about BUTI), one bassoonist, one oboist, and one clarinetist went to Juilliard Pre-College; another clarinetist went to MSM Pre-College. None of the brass or percussion went to either, as far as I can recall, and only a few strings did. I can’t quote numbers for any of the other disciplines (piano, composition, voice), though I don’t think it was at all an overwhelming presence.</p>
