<p>sitting at home is always a waste of time in the mind of a college, but if you do something with that Shakespearean knowledge, you can pass it off as preparation, like you could introduce younger kids to Shakespeare through a program you organize yourself, colleges would love stuff like that</p>
<p>as far as summer programs go, if you are really academically oriented and are looking at high-up schools, apply to TASP because it’s free</p>
<p>Choose a program that ties in with your personal interests, because those tie in with your essays best (eg i am taking a film class)</p>
