Stephen Foster Story has been around for many years. (Like 50-60 or more I think) So it has stood the test of time. It’s really a show to celebrate all of the songs Stephen Foster composed over the years. We know a number of people who have performed there in the summers. I think it is a good gig for a college student to learn what it is like to do the same show day after day, learn to deal with the elements, etc… I have no first hand knowledge of accommodations or anything like that. But I assume they would be fairly basic. Bardstown is a small town between Lexington and Louisville. So you are not far from a bigger city. But I would think you would want to take a car. Not tons to do in Bardstown itself. They usually do another show along with the “The Stephen Foster Story”. So there may be opportunity to have a role in both shows. I believe this summer they are also doing Mamma Mia. It is held in an outdoor ampitheatre at “My Old Kentucky Home” in Bardstown.
