Summer Students!

Summer is a great time to get ENC 1101 or 1102 out of the way. If you have those credits, take another Gordon rule class-a w class. It is also a good time to look to get one of your x or y requirements done. Even better is an x or y that meets the Cordon rule. Start to get familiar with both your major requirements for the first 2 years, as well as the Gordon rule w/x/y/lit requirements. It seems confusing at first. But soon you will have it down. This pamplet is given at orientation and it is GREAT-- [fsu.edu | It’s All Academic](http://undergrad.fsu.edu/iaa.html). This link [Florida State University Registrar](<a href=“FSU Registrar | Error 404 page not found”>Page Moved) helps you to look for classes that satisfy the w/x/y requirements.
This is in your orientation packet as well I believe [fsu.edu | your pagetitle here](<a href=“New Student & Family Programs”>New Student & Family Programs)

Otherwise deadlines are the same, except for summer housing. When summer housing goes live, remember that all summer students (freshman as well as upperclass) will be going on to register and get a priority number. Your fall priority number is for fall/sping and remains with you as long as you stay in housing at FSU for subsequent fall/spring terms. But each summer housing session is independent. So when they announce summer housing dates, mark your calander and go on early to get a good number.
