Hey y’all! Just found this! I got into NCCU and i just recieved my schedule :D

Finally got my assignment for chalotte. got statistics!!! Yay can’t wait 24 days

@apet: My suite mate took that course. It’s mainly lecture with some hands on days in the computer lab doing finance and probability.

BTW, those attending Charlotte; your first day will suck.

Nate: thanks. I’m not sure it lectures will b all that fun but hopefully it will be interesting. And thnx for the warning bout the first day. I’ll be prepared.

what do you mean it’ll suck? Is it boring?

@apet: If you like math it shouldn’t be a problem. You are welcome.

@nigel: Yes, very boring and awkward. You start off unpacking your things and exchanging looks with the other campers. Then you head to the auditorium for a one hour long presentation designed for your parents. After that, you go to the “social cafe” I forgot the exact name of it but this is where you have ice cream with your parents and the other campers. Shortly after this your parents leave and the advisors break you into your classes to do a scavenger hunt across campus. This being almost everyone’s first time to UNCC, it was full of wrong turns and ultimately being more confused about the layout of the campus. The end of the scavenger hunt leads you to the dorm. It is now around 7 o’clock and you are not even close to being done for the day. When all classes arrive you take vans to a separate location on campus to undergo an hour presentation for students where the head residence advisor (Claudia) sets the ground rules about how your life at the dorm will be. I bet she will have a lot to say about our group last year since 15 of the campers were on some kind of restricted curfew. Finally you complete an " ice breaker" with the other campers that includes surveys about one another as well as competitions. This concludes your first day at UNCC. You head back to the dorm around 10. You have one hour to actually meet the campers then it’s off to your suite at 11 for curfew and to get to know your suite mates better.

You all may or may not have to go through this grueling process. There’s a new person in charge of UNCC’s summer ventures.

Doesn’t sound tht bad, could be a little awkward

Ya hopefully won’t be that bad. Not too good at being social though but I kno a few people so hopefully it’ll be okay.

yeah same, i hope it doesnt turn out too awkward, but im looking forward to it very much!!!

Yea me too. I can’t wait we have two weeks!!! Do you know what you’re going to be studying?

One week!!!

yeah im so excited for it too!!!
