<p>[Oberlin</a> in Italy](<a href=“http://new.oberlin.edu/conservatory/summer/oberlin-in-italy/"]Oberlin”>http://new.oberlin.edu/conservatory/summer/oberlin-in-italy/) may be a good option – it’s a summer program based in Arezzo. It’s been mostly Conservatory students in the past (the website is pretty geared toward musicians), but last summer they started offering a liberal arts option so students in the College can study art history and take intensive Italian classes. It looks like the [url=<a href=“http://new.oberlin.edu/dotAsset/3556669.pdf]application[/url”>http://new.oberlin.edu/dotAsset/3556669.pdf]application[/url</a>] (for non-musicians) is due very soon, though.</p>
<p>Oberlin also has an archaeological field school in a different part of Italy, which I’ve done before and loved, but I think that program is full for this summer.</p>
