Curious for merit is everyone oos. I’m assuming no merit for in state but was wondering if maybe a few if they get a presidential scholarship for example.

Lol I think my son will be last to find out if he’s in or not. A bunch of kids found out last night from his school, mostly deferred and denials to SOM. It’s surprising just how competitive business schools have become. I wasn’t prepared for how competitive it was.

I’m with you. Very nervous. Thought this would be more of a safety. Son applied to all business schools at colleges and now thinking he should’ve went general.

My son is still waiting as well but we are engineering. He applied to binghmaton early september and two of his friends heard last night also.

Yes it’s nuts. My son got into his other schools but we are still waiting on this one and Villanova.

We are OOS and I know that is the reason we got anything (5K per year). For us that brings tuition to about 21-22K per year. I have to say that the in-state tuition rate for SUNY schools is absolutely amazing compared to bordering states. I live about 10 miles from NYC/Rockland and I would consider moving at this point (ok - maybe not with current interest rates - but you get the idea - lol!)

I should add that Binghamton is one of the only SUNY schools that does not match the Rutgers in-state tuition for NJ residents (about 17K). So I think the 5K merit was an attempt to help bridge that gap.

Me, too. Thinking my daughter should have applied undecided . Students in her school accepted undecided with lower stats .

Yes my son’s friends did the Harpur route for economics instead of SOM, but I heard that transferring into SOM is not easy.
