My son got accepted to two state schools already with an email followed by scholarship a few days later and then a big envelope a week later. I’d love to keep asking him if he’s heard from Binghamton, but I pretty certain that would be more than a little annoying.

Congratulations to all who got decisions yesterday - such a great feeling (I imagine, anyway…wouldn’t yet know 
) curious if your kids got emails notifying them, or if the decision was just in the portal? My D24 hasn’t mentioned anything (she does keep up on her email).

There was no email. And I asked S24. No email this am. He did say that the portal looked different a few hours before the decision came in.

Still waiting. No e-mail, no portal updates
when my student received a decision in november an email was sent with the subject line
“An update to your application status”
if decisions were posted at 7PM - the email was time stamped 7:20PM
so sure, portal gets updated a bit sooner than when the email gets sent out but it’s not DAYS later like PITT

Me too … I don’t get the reason to release like this versus one set date… it’s torture. Luckily my kid is being chill. Bing is his top public choice we’re both alums. He has a reach dream private school… trying to be prepared either way…
I am totally with you, I was on pins and needles. Hopefully it will be today, seems Wednesday and Thursday are the days (Harpur class of 94!)
