Thank you for the inspirational quotes, ADad and aibarr. Aibarr, I am sorry about your teacher. I still remember the spandrels you designed in honor of LTS.

Ah, I was reading a thread on care packages in the main CC Parent Forum, trying to get some ideas for Halloween, and I stumbled over this, from LTS:

My heart did a little leap, and then I realized the thread was started way back in 2006 and someone had added to it today.

Oh, I miss LTS. And it makes me so sad that her D will not be getting goofy care packages from her mom. Life is short, guys. Let’s enjoy our kids.

incamom- I know what you mean, I have read old threads and come across posts from LTS and gotten teary realising she is gone
but not forgotten!

I have thought of LTS often lately, and wondered what she would have been saying about current events. I miss her voice so much.

That post about the care packages is so poignant, momof2inca. She had so much so live for, and she gave so much.

I came here to say I thought of LTS yesterday. On Yom Kippur there is a time for remembering those who have passed on, and I counted up the friends I have lost to various cancers, and thought of LTS, whose real name I never knew.

I miss LTS. And the community of CC’ers supporting her.

^^ Ditto for me.
