Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

Everyone at CC is missing you!

I have phoned LTS’ D but did not reach her. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

thanks, Marite. Her daughter may not realize the extent of LTS’s friendship circle.
LTS
we are all hoping your procedure was very successful and that you are comfortable and recovering

thinking of you!

Thank you, Marite!

We are all thinking of you, LTS! <3

I’m still praying for you, LTS. Godspeed.

Thinking of you tonight LTS - and sending lots of positive thoughts your way!!!

Thank you, Marite, for being our link to LTS, who has been in my thoughts throughout the past couple of days. No, make that, “throughout the day, every day, over the past several months.” There aren’t many situations in which a person can make such a statement without fear that they will seem like a stalker, but I know that there are so many CCers whose lives have been enriched by LTS’s sharing her experiences and thoughts with us, and who are focused on LTS’s health and recovery.

LTS, we are with you!

LOL, Marite, thank you so much for reaching out to her; I will let her know.

All is well
let’s see - the brain MRI came back normal, EKG came back normal as well - had surgery to install screens = more later

Thanks for the update, LTS!! As we say down here in the south, “Bless your heart!”. Just think of us as your army of friendly prayer-warriors/“stalkers”. We love you!

whew - you know us parents, we get worried when we don’t hear from you. I feel the collective sigh of relief from cc knowing that you are doing well.

Same here; but looking at your post times, I worry about the hours you are keeping  !

Thanks to both marite and LTS for getting back to us. I could feel the collective anxiety when we did not hear for a couple of days.

Great results and on the tests  and good that the screens are in.

Hoping you can now both relax and recover some, and possibly be home for the weekend? It is supposed to be a glorious one here in the Philly area, and I hope for the same for you in D.C.

and another

(P.S. to LTS: Great to hear from hear!)

Great to hear from hear!

Well, you know what I mean.

(That’s what happens when the typing starts before the first cup of tea is finished.)

LTS
whew, we are all relieved to hear from you AND to hear that things are moving along positively and you are being treated
prayers for the next steps
you are in our thoughts
you go girl!

LTS:

Whew! I was just about to compose an email to your D, decided to check CC first, and voila, good news. You don’t know how thrilled I am! After all the snark on the political thread, this thread is the one that re-affirms my faith in human kindness. YOU could show the two candidates something about grit and grace under pressure, as well as mastery of complex information; and we could summon forth our better natures. So
this is a red shoes day!

Apparently Spain is supporting LTS at the Olympics!

I have been lurking for months. The past few days I was consumed with worry that I waited too long to put my prayers for you in print. So glad you had good results. Welcome back LTS. We missed you.

so glad to hear from you LTS
Glad to hear that the tests came back w/ good results. Hopefully the latest surgery will nip that whole clot thing in the bud!!!
