LTS,
That bug is a nasty one and has been sweeping the area. There was an article in the WaPo this AM about all the college kids who have come down withit – and I can tell you all four of us have had it over the past two weeks.

Glad to hear you are on the upswing.

^^^^ LTS do respect this particular bug, which is sweeping this area, as well.

Have you phoned your doctors to report the flu symptoms? Sometimes those symptoms can also be a decoy when there are new drugs in your system, if your body is reacting allergically against the drug. (Happened to my Dad, that’s why I thought of it.)

Dial it in and don’t ASSUME it’s the flu, is my suggestion. Remind them of your new drug and make sure these flu-like symptoms aren’t also indicating a response against the new medicine.

thinking of you, LTS, and hoping you are more comfortable, even cozy! as the evening wears on…so horrid about the slippery sidewalks and cold and gloom. Sun broke through in our part of SW VA today and the power/cable didn’t shut off for the first time in four days.

LTS:

Building a warm, cozy fire for you in my heart and sending lots of hot cyber-chicken-soup.

LTS: I am so sorry you’re feeling poorly. I am a life long flu sufferer, andit can make you feel really awful.

I have finally figured out how to send you this song after much research and tons of help from H. Actually he’s sending you the song.

I hope you find it as inspiring as I do. It’s been a favorite of mine for over 20 years and playing it in my head has helped me get through some hard spots.

Lui Collins, the artist, sends her love to you as well.

Mythmom, thank you, and thanks to your husband as well; I really want to hear the song but I cannot make it play. The link opens just fine; it just doesn’t actually play…have tried everything…

Did you try clicking on the arrow to start it playing? It works when I use it.
I will consult H and have him advise.

Hi lts, this is H!

I just tried again and it worked, so I’m not sure what to say. As mythmom asked, did you click the little arrow?

You need to have the latest QuickTime installed. Go to Apple, look for Downloads on the top of the navigation, and download QuickTime.

Otherwise in my case at least the browser crashes…

Oh - duh!!! It’s playing now…it’s very, very beautiful…“only way out is through…” how true.

Thank you so much for this.

I’m so glad you like it. You used that phrase and I’ve been trying to get you the song for a few weeks now.

I feel really happy it came together.

We tried many technological avenues. Lui was so sweet. She said she feels honored to sing for you when H told her about you.

Thanks, Alumother.

Mythmom the honor is mine; it is a pleasure to hear Lui sing. It’s truly very beautiful; and the timing is perfect as today is rather challenging.

LTS, I hope you are feeling better and the news from the doctors is supportive and helpful. Hugs. Lorelei

LTS- I hope you have a re****l night’s sleep and wake tomorrow feeling better and refreshed.

That’s strange…it does not allow we to wish you a night full of rest. It thinks I said somethings bad! Odd, that!
