Perhaps in the end what will come about is more in line with what Jeebus is suggesting; you come together for a moment of silence before meal time and you do whatever it is you choose to do. If that is what comes of this debate, if that is what it takes to find some middle ground I would find that to be an entirely reasonable compromise in which I hope all participants can feel comfortable.

<p>I doubt the Christan right wing would be mollified with such a reasonable compromise. They see any enforcement of the Establishment Clause as an attack against them.</p>
