So sad…so sad…it is all so sad…

Prayers and peace for Sunrise and her beautiful family

Thought I would share a painting with you (Impression:Sunrise, by Monet)

Coldad- How meaningful it is to have you here with sunrise and your friend. Wishing you all comfort and community. Thank you.

But the sadness has brought so many people together to celebrate a life that was so well lived. We should all be so blessed.

I’m here too, reflecting on my mom’s rewarding life, and sharing her story with close friends. My mom is awake today and I skyped with her a little while ago. She seems at peace and engaged, and is surrounded by loving friends and family. Thank you all.

Sunrise, this Irish blessing makes me think of you:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

We know that God will hold you in the palm of His hand, as so many others hold you in their hearts.

My thoughts and prayers are with a strong woman and a loving family.

Peace and comfort to Sunrise and family.

To live in the hearts of those we love is never to die. (Thomas Campbell)…

What a blessing to have lived a life that affected so many people in such loving and positive ways.

sailingwest, your mother’s is a life very well lived. It is a life to be celebrated. Thank you for inviting us into your lives in this way.

sailingwest, you make all these parents proud. Love to you.

Sailingwest, thank you for letting us know. I hope she knows the extent to which she is being lifted in prayer, friendship, love … as is the rest of your family.

We’re all sitting with you too, Sailingwest.

Here we are, some “real” family friends checking in from Connecticut. But you, her CC friends are very real, too, and she has spoken so often of you in the hours we’ve been blessed to spend with her in the past two years. This vigil is such a beautiful idea, and I know that all of your words of support will mean so much to her.

Lit a candle and thinking of sunrise and her family.

Hugs to you sailingwest, and to you brother and father.

Thank you, Sunrise, for the inspiration, for eternally brightening the horizon.
