<p>ginger, from my research it does seem that W&L offers acceptance to students from the waitlist at a greater rate than many other schools. That’s why I told my daughter not to give up if she really wanted W&L, and I would say the same to you.</p>
<p>As College Dad pointed out, it’s standard operating procedure for most schools not to pull from the waitlist until after May 1 when response cards are due in. My daughter’s acceptance was a happy surprise that I can’t explain.</p>
