STILL fall grades. I even sent them an extra letter telling them why I want to go to USC a few weeks ago. This is getting ridiculous.</p>

<p>So I finally cracked and decided to post on CC. The wait is killin’ me. I’m also at fall grades. Applied to Marshall.</p>
<p>Some stats:
SAT: 2170
ACT: 31
GPA: 3.7 UW 4.2 W
Honors classes all four years. 4 APs senior year (my school doesn’t offer many)
Lots of EC’s, Great essay, Great Recs</p>
<p>I’m really hoping to get in, it’s my top school. It seemed like not many Marshall people had heard on one of the acceptance threads, and I’m hoping that has something to do with the fact that I have yet to hear/have a status change.</p>

<p>WannabeTrojan I have very similar stats with a 31 ACT and 3.9/4.3 and applied to marshall, but I’ve been stuck at “under review, you will hear back by April first” status for months now. It seems that marshall hasn’t sent out much or changed many statuses besides for international students. </p>
<p>Do you think we have a good chance of acceptance with our stats?</p>
<p>Ha, already got accepted at UF, UGA, UCLA, UCSD, UT. ACT 34 SAT 2100. GPA UW 3.9 W 4.1. What the heck???</p>
<p>^ USC states they notify by April 1st, those other schools notify earlier. Congratulations on all of the acceptances - it makes the waiting less stressful when you already have options.</p>
<p>Okay I feel REALLY dumb. I just went on the USC website and apparently I was also supposed to MAIL in my mid-year grades??? I had NO idea I though I was only supposed to type them up online! I called and asked and they said I needed to send in a transcript or report card ASAP! So I just emailed my councilor and asked him to send one in. Hopefully this is what delayed my application so much. I’m just surprised they didn’t contact me about it!</p>
<p>I haven’t heard yet I have stats that are a bit above USCs average, but I applied right at the end like Feb 11 or whenever the deadline was. I’m still stuck on the fall grades status.</p>
