Why not call the lawyer again?
It’s not my place - but have you considered pulling him? You are spending hard earned money to educate him.
Getting a conduct violation - whether cheating or drinking, etc. is not good - but everyone makes mistakes.
But following it up with a violation - clearly he’s not making smart decisions - why should you invest your money? Pull him out and put him at a community college.
OK - easy for me to say from afar and I don’t know what happened - but on the surface, it makes me angry that he’s doing this to his parent.
The second time should never have happened.
