Being on probation with suspension as the next step was a risky situation. Interesting that the suspension won’t go on record. That’s good. What is the next step if he does it again?
I cannot imagine that you get a full refund but maybe partial is possible. Glad you have a lawyer from the past.
We don’t know enough about this situation to really comment. A second offense would seem to argue for pulling him out, but we don’t know what the offense was and we don’t know if the college is being fair or not. I assume they are being fair because you have not said otherwise.
Tuition refund insurance won’t cover this kind of thing unless some kind of illness, medical or sometimes psychiatric, is involved.
