Switch Majors? (Business)

To begin, you are accepted into your college, not the overall university. This is not to say that you are prohibited from taking cross-school classes. In fact, non-Carroll School students can take 5-6 CSOM classes. Rather, you are locked into receiving your primary degree from those offered in your school. For example, you cannot be in A&S and decide to double-major in nursing.

Switching into Carroll is extremely difficult, yes. People do, however, transfer in. As referenced in Kelly’s link, show extraordinary enthusiasm, perform well, and get to know Carroll professors if you want to enter. Note, also, that transferring into Carroll after your sophomore year is outrightly forbidden, so apply for transfer EARLY.
