<p>Did you apply as Arts & Sciences? If so, I believe you have to go in as that and transfer to nursing. As AwesomeOpossum said, there are a limited number of spots in Nursing so that makes it harder to switch into than out of. Another factor to consider is that, if you do decide to switch and there is a spot open and you get in, you will be behind and have to stay in undergrad longer than 4 years because nursing is almost completely tracked so there are certain classes you have to take each semester so if you transfer in after one semester you’ll end up staying an extra semester after 4 years and if you transfer after a year you’ll be in undergrad 5 years</p>
