<p>I applied to get into the New house for my first decision school. I knew there was no shot of me getting in. But it was worth a try because of my experience </p>

<p>I got rejected from the Newhouse advertising program. I was really upset about it when I found out, but I’m feeling better now. My dad read my essays and is FINALLY letting me apply to art schools to major in something a bit more creative. I know this sounds like I’m rationalizing because I am, but I’m glad this sort of came as a blessing since now I can pursue the schools I wanted to initially. For those who got in, seriously congrats, it’s an amazing school (I’ve been talking about it for months). For those (like me) who didn’t, it’s not the end of the world. For anyone who wanted to know stats of the rejected, here you go:

Creative Director of my school’s newspaper (not a big paper, like some of the people’s ive seen on here), Writing Center tutor, Latino Student Alliance, I have two jobs (hostess/sales associate).</p>
