@NEBlue we understand but it’s considered very late in the game to hear back… most people when they contacted admissions were told different things including myself so it makes this very confusing and difficult.
I’m from Syracuse, NY… but i have not heard back, still waiting…:((
Patience is a virtue. Good things come to those who wait no matter how frustrating it is. Just a few more days hopefully.

I’m kinda glad my daughter got rejected last Friday. We’re in PA (suburban Philly) at a top high school. She’s going to Temple (my alma matter) and she’s really excited. I must say out of all the schools she applied to, Syracuse was the worst with admissions. We were asked to complete extensive financial aid submissions before we were even accepted, and only to be rejected a few days later. Financial aid and admissions don’t integrate or communicate and it’s distressing to students who feel that they need to complete financial aid in order to move their admission along. Thinking of all of you still waiting.
My son hasn’t heard yet and we are in NJ. My nephew is in PA and no word for him either…

@NEBlue yes I completely agree with you. So many people expressing their frustration on here including myself. It’s my son who had applied, and as a dad I just want him to hear back already. He’s so anxious and it’s just killing me. I’ve said some pretty stupid stuff on here about calling admissions and I hope they don’t take that to heart and hurt my sons chances. I was just frustrated and expressing emotions (obviously I would never do something so stupid). But you are completely right, from now on everyone (including myself) should be more careful of what they post.
hey guys, I was just checking the Syracuse Admissions twitter and there’s a reply to a tweet they posted where Syracuse said: “notifications have been going out all week and will continue today and tomorrow.” That was said about 5 minutes ago, I hope this helps, I’m so anxious to find out!

i feel like they’ve been saying “decisions have gone out all week” and “more coming out today” every day for the past month

I would not expect a university to suddenly reject someone based on the fact that they are expressing their frustrations. Universities expect feedback. I’m not saying anyone should make threats in order to receive a decision; that is never okay.
Anyways, I’m in NJ. I have yet to hear. I believe that I am either the only one or one of a small few in my school who applied to Syracuse, so I cannot say who was accepted/denied from around here. I’m pretty frustrated with this whole process at this point, but I’m still holding out hope for Syracuse. They’re still at my top.
so should i expect a decision on tonight or tomorrow?

I’m from NJ, a handful of people from my school were accepted already from the first wave. I haven’t heard of any rejections from the last wave, and there’s more than a handful of us still waiting to hear back
