I am 99% sure my daughter will be giving up her deposit and spot in the SU class of 2024 at Falk in the next day or two (she recently got off the waitlist of the school that was her #1 choice for the past 16 months and even though it farther away… we will probably put in a deposit there). Hope u can take her spot!
And I agree w a previous poster… I think folks waitlisted (at any school quite frankly) have a much better chance getting accepted in light of current events.

@kamh2002 I did and my counselor got back to me the next day saying “Thank you for sending this update and I will add it to your application file to note your continued interest.”
Have not been accepted off the waitlist yet, though it doesn’t appear anyone else for Newhouse has either.
My son will be declining his spot from the business school tomorrow, at the end of the day Cuse , while a great school was the highest price tag on his list and did not offer what he wanted the most to be in a big city. Good luck to everyone.
I sent my LOCI the day I got waitlisted and sent it to my regional director and the admissions director. I didn’t get any response, should I follow up?
My D got waitlisted for Musical Theatre and also got he June 1 date. I have been looking but not able to see if Syracuse moved their decision date. Is it still May 1?
My D was WL for Acting. We got the same email re: June 1, yet their decision date is still May 1 per my D’s friend who was admitted and went to an admitted students session. Very odd…we were hoping that the June 1 date was a typo!
The deadline for deposits is still May 1. In past years it seems that most people accepted are notified immediately after May 1.
I believe the June 1 date is to allow a little extra time in case some of the people who were accepted off the waitlist also decline admission. That way they might still be able to admit someone else in their place.

based on the past few years, it seems like most waitlists hear the first week of may. so im thinking like may 2-8 most are gonna hear im gonna get in. Praying i get in im on the waitlist for falk!
