<p>Hey pinewu! Thinking about all the options to get involved at BC is such an exciting process The pros of special interest housing are that you get a unique floor experience and you get to live on upper (which is generally the preferred part of campus!) However, they are definitely a big commitment. I would suggest finding out the specific details about joining MLEP before making a decision. If you then decide that you’re definitely interested in taking the opportunity, I would definitely suggest it! That program sounds really eye-opening, and you have nothing to lose (especially when you’re guaranteed upper!) I found a blog about it here [Eagle’s</a> Eye World View…a Boston College International Student Blog: Multicultural Leadership Experience (MLE)](<a href=“http://bc-sap-international.blogspot.com/2010/03/multicultural-leadership-experience-mle.html]Eagle’s”>http://bc-sap-international.blogspot.com/2010/03/multicultural-leadership-experience-mle.html), which I think may be of help to you if you haven’t already seen it! Definitely consider the nature of the commitment before making your decision, and you should be good to go! Good luck :)</p>
