Talk to me about TB

My daughter tested positive (skin test) in 2002 when she was 5. She was treated with this disgusting medication (impossible to hide in food; that’s when she learned to swallow pills) for many months and told that she should never have another skin test. When she was working at a hospital in 2020, her PCP suggested that she do another skin test. It was negative.

Interesting! Maybe D won’t still test positive.

At 4 and a half, she also learned how to swallow pills for that. S was one and a half so that was not happening. I got really good at squishing up pills to powder and mixing into jelly. Enough jelly that he didn’t seem to notice the taste of his “special jelly".

My mom made the pills into powder and had sis take it. It’s wasn’t fun but she was complaint.

Interesting that skin test became negative. I’ve been told I always need Xrays. Any skin test I get is equivocal or +.
