well caltech and harvey mudd were are staying off cause I don’t want to go into the sciences anymore and UCLA is off cause I really don’t like big schools. I am a liberal arts type person.

and btw Corey, you were the 3000 post!! congrats.

edit: between the time I wrote this and the time I read your message you must ahve added the huge red font, huh.

Lol Karen. Nice justifications. Yea I edited my last post XD

Crazy Tako. I have my little list for when people ask, Dartmouth is on there as well.

I got a letter from Davidson, unsure and don’t know if i could visit since NC is sort of away from the others.

My mom has barred me from attending WashU. :-My uncle went there and i’m not allowed to go, and thats coming from someone who consciously botched her Harvard interview and rejected Yale by not writing all the essays. What a strange fam i got.

My dad didn’t apply to Harvard or MIT even though he really wanted to (with his creds back in those days he woulda gotten in) because his friends were going there. He didn’t want to be in a place where people knew him. He now regrets that and takes it out on me.

I don’t know if any of that is true. It’s just what he told me.

Dressed up weird for her Harvard interview proceeded to act dramatic and expressed her hatred for the school and why she thought it was a monopoly of modern education and a disgrace to the true free spirited intellectuals who shouldn’t be bound to the rules of an institution with such stature.

She later attended UChicago had me and graduated early. Than went on to MIT Sloan with me, a 3 year old, to get her MBA.

I don’t think anybody at my school has heard of Davidson, and I think that NC sounds like a hecka cool state, so it’s up there on my list. I want to go to a school that NOBODY has heard of, just to be rebellious. Swarthmore doesn’t really exist at my school either, so it’s definitely up there as well :)

Corey…your mom sounds hecka cool. I wish my mom was rebellious like that…but no.

Haha funny story:
At my school you can get “Whoa Cards” (like $5-10 gift card) if your GPA raises by .25 between progress reports. So I was telling my lit teacher about how sad I was that I’d never get a Whoa Card (because I need at least two B’s or one C on a progress report - which has never happened :() So she’s all, okay, I’ll give you a C. So apparently she gave me a C. So now I can get a Whoa Card!

The problem is, of course, that when I asked her whether my grade would “improve” by next progress report, she wouldn’t give me a good answer (and this was over AIM, so you can’t force a response out of people). So, uh, I hope I don’t get a C in that class. Lol. Yeah, random. I hope I get that Whoa Card. I’m afraid that I won’t, and that I’ll get a C though. My lit teacher…is somewhat quirky and might fail me just for fun. Actually, you know what, not so funny story. This might turn tragic.

Wow, I go to sleep and you guys get 200 pages! In fat, 201. =O

I have to write an essay on Virginia Woolf by 3:00 and study for my chem final for the rest of the day…but it’s ok because it’s finals week, which means no classes, and today I have no exams or anything. I can do this…

Lol. Well she’s pretty quirky (as you can probably tell by her giving me a C -_- me = stupid for asking for that, seriously!)

Haha and she wrote my TASP recommendation. Hopefully she didn’t write anything bad. She’s probably only my favourite teacher ever, though because she is SUCH a teenager.

She…plays video games and calls people “punks” and has an eyebrow piercing, a tongue piercing (though she no longer wears it), and a tattoo on her back. And it’s hilarious, because she just got married this summer to another teacher, who is like the mellowest person I know. Well, opposites attract, I suppose :P

I’m very bored right now. I have no homework and it is perfect weather outside but noone wants to go get some ice cream. I really wish I lived in a larger neighborhood so I would have friends my age around me.
