We had a Diversity Day assembly today, and I hecka wanna learn Bhangra this summer so I can be on the Bhangra (Indian dance) team next year. Anybody up to teach me :D

um…i had some of the best wine i’ve ever had today. It was some stuff from argentina but it was so good. I finished a streetcar named desire and i lost my love of cupcakes. Oh and i got out of most my classes to play darts in my history classroom.

I got out of class today to volunteer for something, which then ended up being sitting around and socializing. Lol. So basically I missed 2 periods

Yes. I am one of those people who randomly thinks of things and starts regretting things like crazy. I get TERRIBLY depressed. Like hate the world, misanthropic, emo x10 depressed, whenever something terrible happens to me or yes, I think of something I want so bad but can never get it. Luckily I get over things quickly, or else I would probably not be on this thread :P

Aww, Karen, now I’m all depressed. (Light depressed, though…like aching heart/chest area depressed, not my terribly depressed zone. I’m not there…yet :P)

And I did not enjoy sitting through classes.

Well before I got to school I needed a ride so my grandma (whose in town) drove me. I couldn’t drive because it was a rental car (Blasphemy) And She made me nearly late!!! It took her 4 minutes just to adjust the mirrors then she thought I had all the time in the world so she made some off joke about the built in navigation thing and if we should use it. Then she proceed to drive UNDER the speed limit all the way. (25 in a 40 zone) I was flippin a B next to her.
Anyways
4th was Chem and due to a band excursion (400 kids in the school are out) only half our chem class was there but we still went onto Acids and Bases-- Basically a really hard section that will screw them all over.

5th was drama and we had a sub. She was really creppy and I was about 20 minutes late because I was delaying in the office on purpose. We didn’t do anything but sit outside and talk and read our newspaper. The out of nowhere she rings this loud gong and informs us that we have 30 minutes till we do
“Comedic Improvisation” but she said it really depressed and monotone (oh the irony)

6th was English and we had a sub too. We watched the movie “second hand lions” I had seen it before with my grandparents and it just stunk having to watch a movie when it was so nice out… So I went to the ‘bathroom’ for a good 30 minutes.

The only reason why I’m spending my Friday night chronicling my day is because I’m stuck at home since my Gparents don’t approve of me going out.
humpf

Yeah. Bahaha. homework. I LAUGH IN THE FACE OF HOMEWORK!!

No, I do. Then I weep a little.

Anyway. (It’s wazoo, Corey.)

Brown lowered my financial aid considerably upon reviewing our tax returns and stuff. OH NOES! HO FASHOES! I’m sort of set on going, though. I love love love Swat and all, but…the art department doesn’t convince me. shrug My dad said it’s fine, that we would pay it somehow, but…I dunno. My mom was not too happy about that. XD It makes me doubt a little…I appealed their finaid decision, so I hope to get ‘em to at least somehow match Cornell’s offer? Meh. Cross yo’ fingaz for me, kids. If any of you have advice, that’s also welcome.

Tako. I HAVE to see you when you’re applying to college. Oh god, lmao.
If I’m not immersed in work, I’ll try to help you guys out, too.
Be your own support network. TASP kids are SO good with this, seriously. Use your resources. Many of us couldn’t have done it without the support of one another. insert fluffy love stuff here

I’m hungry.

OH. And my parents bought sliced pineapples…that omg, are SO. JUICY. and sweet and good and wonderful…I’m gonna get some now.

Oh yes, college time will be fun. Actually a bit shorter, if you think about it.

Actually, about the same, lol. Yeah, I can see myself go crazy when it comes to college admissions. Like 24/7 - Hmmm am I going to get into _______? Hmm. Why am I so obsessive? Oh well It’ll be a blast, I bet :P

I’m tired. Gnight all I feel so pathetic for sleeping at 10:15 on a Friday night. Lol. Oh well!

Nate, Tako doesn’t get it. HA! Sorry I just had to do that.

Sounds like everyone had a sunny day. It hasn’t stopped raining since like November, but I like rain so it’s nice. My day was spent at home. I didn’t feel very well all week… Long story short, I woke up this morning to a very uncooperative body and even less cooperative brain.

So I did two practice SAT’s, and a bit of chemistry review. I’ll be doing a physics practice test as soon as I post this. Plan for tomorrow, more SAT’s followed by WORLD HISSStory, econononononomics, and CALCULUS (I’m not a math person at all but DEAR LORD I LOVE THAT CLASS!) While I’m at it, I might as well schedule my Sunday before you. I guess I’ll start with more SAT’s, studying for my bio protists-fungi test, French test on tenses, and my English lit Romantics unit test. HOOORRRAY! Now doesn’t that sound like a boatload of fun and then some?

Back to studying. I hope Tuesday gives me reason to celebrate, or else it will be one depressingly quiet day of studying to keep myself from thinking about TASP. (It’s becoming an addiction. I feel nervous when I’m not studying, and it’s partly because of TASP. I feel terrible admitting this on the TASP thread… I’m really not a nerd, it’s just ap season, REALLY!) I’ll return to my futile attempts at making a Telluride ion and other equally futile attempts like studying physics. Goodnight!

P.S. GOOOOOD LUCK AIDA!!! Send them a heartfelt letter and draw them a picture! I suggest you make it a bag of money labeled ‘swag’ and a happy face with a sun in the corner and maybe a rainbow and a leprechaun and a pot of gold and fluffy bunnies and a stick figure of you smiling with a shirt that says BROWN on it. Be sure to draw it in crayons, 24-crayola pack recommended. It can’t hurt can it? =)

Aida you know what this means… CAR WASH!!!
I will be on hose duty, I destroyed my brothers today in a water fight with the hose XD. All while on the phone with Aida…

I’m so frustrated! I missed my train, so I’m also going to miss basically all of the geisha documentary. Goddamn. -_-;;

Now I have to wait until the 12:11 train, which gets into the Botannical Garden at 12:36, but the documentary is an hour long and starts at noon.
