Tasp 2007

ok. confession time. i’ve been reading this thread for, oh, a month. just lurking. so i kind of know you guys, even though you don’t know me. creepy.
ANYWAY.
i got into WASH U!!! so, debaser17 and inkspill… i’ll be seeing you this summer! XD
my older brother went to the UMICH TASP in 2005, so i might be able to answer questions, if anybody wants (though hardly as well as musechick & co).
AAAH!!! SOOO excited!!!

I agree Nate.

And what the hell? The lurkers get in but we don’t? There is no justice, lol.

yay lurkers!

i also lurked on the facebook group for ages before signing up today (just search TASP 2007)

you should join dtp

AHHH 2007 TASSer RIGHT HERE!!!

Got my 1st Choice!! :D

Jenny + Susan Yes Michigan here we come.

Eww we need to start making one of those list things. Im to tired to do it though. Plus Im really sick-- At home today so :-(

not me. sucks.

Reeejected.

Lauren :-(

No!!! Nonononono. You’re not supposed to get rejected. What hope is there for me?

That about says it. ^Your essays were beautiful, Lauren. It’s their loss. Maybe they felt you were so well-adjusted and ready to face the world that you didn’t need TASP.

I’m shocked about Lauren and Nate getting rejected, but I guess I was expecting all of us from the core group to get in; clearly it is not meant to be. sigh

I called to my mom and she talked me through it. Even though I don’t have TASP, rejection means my hiking/biking trip in Europe w/ my family can be extended a few weeks. Plus now I can get a job and earn some cash, raise my certification in jewelry, visit colleges, write my admissions essays ahead of time, go to the summer concert circuit, take an internship and get to be with my sister before she heads off for college. This is probably for the best.

The important thing was that I got to meet all of you.

TRASP unite!

Looks like you have a busy summer Iris :)

Well, I live in NYC, so there’s always stuff to do.

I’m really glad you made TASS Corey; you’ll have a great time.

Hells yeah, iris. Way to be an optimist. Hey, if I get rejected, I might be doing a little hiking over here myself. Possible TRASP:Europe??? We will see.

Yeah! We’ll probably be in Switzerland and Italy, and we’ll also hit the Venice Bienalle (sp?).

Why don’t you call in? The lines are open.

I just got a mass email too.

I’m making myself wait; it’s an exercise in self-control. Besides, if I didn’t get through I couldn’t call back too many times. International calls are pricey. The minute I know, though, TASP/TRASP plans are on.

I’ll probably give out and call soon anyway.
