<p>Aida, I don’t know… I won in state science fair competitions, but maybe they don’t count? I also do science competitions? I (relatively) recently moved to where I’m residing right now (another country!), so it’s kind of difficult to make any major impact on the scientific field. Not that that should be an excuse for a lack of awards or anything, but it’s still frustrating that they even DARED to say that. Meh. Jerks. :P</p>

Anyway, I was asking for a lot of aid, so I’m not surprised I didn’t get in. And really, it’s not like that comment was the deciding factor, though I’m still frustrated that they even had that idea!</p>

<p>Do you know what’s sick? Now that I have what I want, I’m sad that I’m missing out on my summer in Montana. That’s okay. Part of the reason I applied was so I could work on getting outside my comfort zone.</p>
