the only time I like running (just sprints) is when it is 85-plus
I like the heat… plus, I get loose quicker than colder running

Jenny you’re complaining it’s hot! I just looked up cupertino on my widget and 77 is not hot. Try 100 with 70% humidity then tell me what hot is. (It only gets to that during August…not today. Today was 90) Okay I guess I shouldn’t even be talking. There are worse places.

Nahh I haven’t worked out in like…5 months, so it’s definitely not muscle. No biggie, I’m working on it.

I ran 3 miles today
(ran the whole thing - super slowly, yes, but still ran the whole thing! Yay! Usually I give up and walk after like 10 minutes, haha.)

Haha I know I’m lucky.

I’m watching the Grey’s Anatomy episode where they find the Judy Doll heads in somebody’s bowel. Gross. Hehe.

^ YEAH (to Karen’s post… argh you poster-crazy people!) :P

I once visited Arizona when it was like 102 degrees. My family and I had to go find a restaurant ('cause my dad wanted to “see” Phoenix… argh), so we walked around the downtown area in boiling heat for 20 mins. THAT was hot. Thank goodness it wasn’t really humid though - I’m pretty sure I would have just died right there. ;)

oh thanks everyone!

I went to China last last last year and THAT was hot. Like, wow couldn’t go out in the day or like, risk dying of overheating. Haha.

Hm…I remember once a few years ago it was over 100 in ny and I had just eaten A LOT when my dad decided the best way to get from point A to B was to take the subway. Now normally i’d agree with him but this time was different. The train we needed was on the bottom track so we were 3 or 4 levels below ground. I don’t remember anything after sitting down on the subway. The next thing I recall is waking up in my living room. =/

Bombay is the worst though. I’ve never been there but my parents stories speak for themselves.

Wow. I have never blacked out before. I kind of wish I had. I’ve never broken a bone or sprained an ankle or a wrist either :(

lucky! Gymnastics killed me back in the day. I attribute my knee hurting over the past few days for no apparent reason to that.

Oooh I did gymnastics too! From second to fifth grade
Then I switched to a school that didn’t have a gymnastics program and I gave it up :(

school? they had it at your school? cool!

I know! Gymnastics in school… nice!

I’ve never blacked-out either, though I’m guessing it’s just you losing a chunk of your time. :P

I have, however, seen “stars” that supposedly appear after you’ve been hit hard in the head, etc. I had it for standing up too fast, I think. XD

haha, okay since you all have never experienced anything of the sort, when you’re at parties remember to take your shoes off. If you take them off you’re safe once you pass out. If you don’t who knows what’s written on your forehead in sharpie. (never happened to me, but one of my best friends)

Oh, I’ve totally seen stars
Sometimes I fall from seeing stars. It’s kind of sad.

When are you guys going to start packing?

Take shoes…off? I don’t understand…

if you take your shoes off at a party and you pass out, a random person will think that you’re just sleeping and leave you alone. If your shoes are on they can assume (and rightly so) that you passed out because of drinking so they have all the right to mess with you.

Oh wow, I totally didn’t know that Karen!

I’ll remember that the next time I go off to a party
hehe which is rare, in my sad and pathetic life. :)

lol, i think all of ours are though. I mean, we spend our free time posting on a college help website.
