Is it still on track to release today at 5pm central time? I’m in Arizona so for me it would be 4pm. Ed1 applicant, applied before nov1 deadline.
My HFS is a junior at TCU. He applied EA not ED and received an update with his acceptance letter and academic scholarship on the second Friday of December 2022 . Honors acceptance was a few weeks later. EA sounds later this year. After many visits to campus, TCU has set the bar VERY high as far as what my daughter thinks a university should be. 
When they say “purple Disneyland,” that’s 100% accurate! Fingers crossed for her and all of you!
Did you hear from TCU? My daughter applied EA, not ED, but just wondering if anyone heard yesterday and if scholarship offers came with the admit letters.
It is exactly what happened to my daughter. Once we visited TCU she was in love with the campus and the school. I wish she would have applied with ED instead of EA. Honestly I don’t think she will be accepted with her stats but we are still very hopeful.
Competitive all girls High school
GPA: 89.95 (according to online converters it is a 3.5 UW) Not so good freshman year but very good years after.
Only 4AP classes and 2 CC (College Credit)

Very good essay. 3 Summers of Horse Therapy Volunteering. Couple of other very special volunteering job with special need children.

Is she interested in TCU’s polo team? That’s a stand out EC. My son had a 97 weighted GPA, 6 AP, honors everything else, solid essay, great ECs and placed All State three times for music. Daughter has 95 W, only 1 AP, six honors, great ECs, solid essay, but no big awards or honors. Different major. We shall see! So far she’s been accepted everywhere she has applied.

Thank you @Newbie2324 for the encouraging words. She originally wanted to look at TCU bc of the Polo Team. Unfortunately, they stopped the program the summer of 2024. She loved TCU so much once we visited that it is her first choice. She didn’t apply with ED bc she has applied to other schools with a Polo Team.

Does TCU invite all EA applicants to apply to the Honors program? We got an invite to apply to Honors and my daughter applied. Hoping that is an indication of good news for EA admission but thought I’d ask. Appreciate any insights!
We got it too. Pretty sure anyone with stats in range will get that invite and it is not an indicator of acceptance…
