@NYRicanGirl I am right there with you although a lot older. It took me 20 years to get my BA and I too worked all the way through (the plus side, no students loans. . .paid tuition from working), also the first to get through High School in my family and College. I am also the first American in my family, my parents worked multiple jobs, and I attended some pretty low expectation schools. Don’t let this get you down, you’ve dealt with much harder things. Deep breath girl, then if you really want this reapply like KnickyG and I will be doing in the next few months. I hope to see you here for the 2013 corps process but I know that you will be amazing no matter what you choose to do.

@KnickyG maybe we’ll meet up next year at final interview I’m applying the minute it is available. . .which actually may be now and as I have all the info
Okay, I’ll wait until tomorrow to look.

Again to all who have been accepted, congratulations! I will be thinking of you in the coming months and wishing you the best! I hope you will join the Teach For Us blog so we can keep up with you!
