<p>You can use any teacher, so yes. (Doesn’t have to be English, Journalism is fine).</p>
<p>Uh no, you can’t use any teacher. Stanford recs are required to be from junior/senior English, social sciences, science, math, or foreign language teachers.</p>
<p>To answer your question, I am not quite sure. I would call in and ask.</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure they won’t have a problem with Journalism, but if you want to be absolutely positively sure, there is no harm in calling and asking.</p>
