Technical Breadth

Hi,

I am an electrical engineering (computer engineering option) student, and I’ve declared my technical breadth area in computer science. However, it seems that URSA wouldn’t let me enroll in CS 143 as my technical breadth course. This is the error message when I tried to enroll:

This primary and all secondaries have college and/or major restrictions which you do not meet. Consult the On-line Schedule of Classes or URSA OnLine Classes and Real-Time Enrollment Counts for details.

I thought I am able to select CS courses from 102 through 187 as my technical breadth. Can anyone explain what the problem is?

Thank you

In his case, he can’t take it because there is an enrollment restriction. But for my case, I thought I am able to bypass that enrollment restriction, since I am allowed to take it as my technical breadth.

If one can’t bypass enrollment restriction, then how does one take technical breadth courses?
