Teen clothing ?

@ChaosParent23 my S23’s school is hinting that they will do the same in the next few days. So yes at the rate our kids are growing, you might as well wait! (Although LOL pajamas are HARDER to buy than pants…because they come in S, M, L, XL only! But hey the pants can be up to their shins and no one will know! I feel like both of my skinny tall boys wore kids size pajama pants FOREVER, but now that they hit adult size, pajama pants are impossible…small is way too big at the waist.

Abercrombie and Fitch makes men’s jeans with a 26 waist but long legs. In his early HS days, this was pretty much all DS wore.

Nordstrom’s was our go-to. I made an appointment with Maria, a younger salesperson. She knew every make of jeans and pants and had a suit with 28” waist. Whoops, I should mention this was for first job after college. My son hates to shop, but this wardrobe was put together in under an hour. She also had the seamstress come by to do the tailoring. To sweeten matters, she held everything for 2 weeks so we got the summer sale prices.

as soon as you find something, he’ll grow some more! but that is certainly an awkward size.

We used to get size 18 slim fit skinny jeans from Gap for our kid in jr. high. Slim fit is the key for any pant. Now, its American Eagle or gap for jeans/kahkis as they carry the small waist, long lengths. my kid wears lots of drawstring shorts, and tapered soccer pants as well.

Check out Lands End as well. You are able to pick the inseam length for khaki uniform pants. In the young men sizes, the inseam goes up to 32", longer in the adult sizes.
