Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

^^ i kno the feeling (not about SAW, haven’t seen that yet, and yes i know that takes a big hit on my masculinity, but o well ;))

i refuse to finish it. and the fact that they have a fifth and sixth coming is worrisome.
wait elmo are you saying your a b*tch?

and we have an annoying girl in our class like that.but she has learned a little. and hehe i have a “mutual dislike agreement” with four girls and a boy i used to hang out with, it is going rather splendidly.

and what is a “otp”??

just cuz i haven’t seen saw duzn’t mean i’m a b*tch. if it helps any, i’ve seen rambo, indiana jones, die hard, tremors, saving private ryan (<–awesome movie) and all those super-masculine movies.

there, i just upped my manhood like 50 pts.

no, no that wasnt what i was implying this time.
your comment about losing masculinity points, what was it refering to?

and indiana jones is classic.
what’s “tremors” about?

tremors - trilogy

1 - group of underground monsters attack small town. people use combines, heavy-caliber weapons, high explosives, flaming potato guns, etc. to escape

2 - tremors 1 monsters evolve to running things that reproduce like its the end of the world, and have heat vision

3 - tremors 2 monsters evolve to flight.

or you can wikipedia or google it.

o i see. ahh a potato gun interesting.

Speaking of super-masculine (bordering on misogynistic) movies… what’s everyone’s opinion of Fight Club? I’m still teetering between ‘kick-ass 20th century dogma’ and ‘transparent Gen-X pander-fest’. Soundtrack rocks either way.

Panic: An OTP is your personal “One True Pairing” for a fandom of something.

Haven’t seen Fight Club myself. I’m not much of a movie person, but I get obsessive with the ones I do see. Which is probably a good reason for my not being much of a movie person.

lol i see and ive never seen fight club either.

I am Tyler’s raging disappointment.

How have you guys not seen Fight Club? It’s a definite mind-**** movie. You need to watch it at least two times to fully appreciate it.
I say it’s a perspective-changing film, Classik. You wouldn’t think Brad Pitt would “open” your eyes.

See? This Hudson person understands obsessive movie love. I bet HE’s seen Saw.

hudson proves nothing.
lol she called you “this hudson person” hehe.

the movie i was obsessed about was this version of the jane eyre movie. it was so omg i cant even describe it, i was watching it at like 2 in the morning when i had a test that very day.
that is obsessive love.

I agree with this Wolfbane person, obsessive movie love rocks.

I actually have only seen SAW one, but that was on television, so they took out all the naughty bits. I’m no one for “gore and horr.” I saw IT when I was eleven, and that is NOT a movie an eleven year old sees.

How about “American Beauty”?

(bows) I am but a lowly lurker-brought-to-light who has brought gifts of porn/prostitution debate and Saw obsession unto this thread. Forgive me, Hudson Person.

Lyk, omg, you’ve like got to see like Saw again like. Like. But in all seriousness, the Saw series is awesome; I think Saw 2’s the best one, but that could be because it was the first one I saw and because one of the characters was sexy as he*l. I haven’t seen It, but I don’t really want to because I’ve read the book. If you read the book BEFORE you see the movie, the movie itself doesn’t usually cut it. (oddly enough, seeing the movie and then reading the book only betters it for me)

No American Beauty either. I have select tastes, which is a snootier way of saying I have completely random tastes.

i’m kinda obsessed w/ indiana jones and movies about WWII. i can watch those for hours on end and enjoy every moment of it.

whoa wolf…ur falling under the mesmerizing influence of don juan (hudsons nickname)

There are so many World War movies, that if you took all the extras from every movie, I bet you’d have more people than were actually in BOTH wars. (:

Favorite movie, everybody? …I feel like we did this already

I don’t know if you can be forgiven, Wolfbane2. It’s a very complicated process, we have to process forms, mail them to be notarized, stamped on both sides, etc. How about I just let you off with a warning? (:

And we definitely have to get you a name. I nominate porno. (:

lol donny just might make the wolf swoon. lol j/k.

Sorry, honey; the Wolf’s husk of a heart belongs alternately to a Jewish boy from where she lives, a lesbian model from ANTM Cycle 4, and Amanda from Saw II.

Forget World Wars 1 and 2; World War Z all the way, baby.

Has anybody else read the Zombie Survival Guide or World War Z? I think they may possibly be the best books that can ever be written by man.

kudos (an bonus masculinity points :)) for don! ow ow !

and we probably did. we just don’t remember it cuz it was like 200 pages ago.

rambo #1 and indie jones #3 are pretty good. can’t wait to see the new ones

EDIT : dammit wolf, stop editing ur goddamm post and making me edit my goddamm post to match it! and whoa, ur all over the place in ur love life. :)
