Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

Well, I spent all of last summer with my cousin in Europe! Her husband is in the Air Force and he was stationed in Germany, so I visited to keep her company and babysit and to have a wonderful summer there. Other than Germany and a day-trip to Luxembourg, I went to England and Ireland for 11 days, and that was fantastic, and I was supposed to go to Rome, but that got cut short because of a family emergency. All in all- amazing and cheap, since she paid for about everything except my ticket to Germany, which was my sixteenth birthday present and party all in one.

You?

nice! i’d have to say when i went to FCCLA(club) nationals in anaheim. only had to pay like $150 out of pocket… when to disneyland, universal studios, won a gold medal, met amazing people, had late night hotel room parties, just pure fun fun fun…

I used to do Odyssey of the Mind, and that was brilliant fun, going to State’s. God, some of the inside jokes there… Honestly, it was the best club I ever belonged to.

playing @ basketball state for pep band… we won state of course… had a little competition goin on with the band across the gym… getting my mouth burned from psycho-hot hot sauce @ taco time, late night movies (til 3:00) watching the replacements and movies like that, walking around in shorts, calling girls’ rooms…hehe:p

Oh my, Elmo, giving our own Don Juan a run for his money?

of course. i’ve been called sweet, people love my animated sound posts, and i’m supposedly a “food flirter”, and am an avid debator in the girl/boy relationships

and unlike don, aka nut god, i still retain shreds of my masculinity (whatevers left after porna’s been thru:))

and i was able to evoke dirty thoughts with my porna CPR act

^^wow, that sounded really corny… lmao

Oh Porna. She’s certainly livened things up around here. (:

i think “livened up” is a little bit too weak a verb

Would saying that her presence stimulates the debate like a crate of fire ants be going too far?

not far enough… more like a stampede of rabbid wild elephants in heat - scares the $hit outta everyone and always sexually inclined. now fire ants injected with cyanide poison fangs and testosterone- thats getting closer…

lol - can’t wait til porna reads all this and strangles both of us…

Yes. About that bomb shelter I was going to go build in my basement…

aha. good idea… actually i was thinking about a underground tunnel as well…a tank parked outside ur house would be nifty too.

I don’t know if a tank could stand up to Porna’s wrath. She also seems like the type who would have a gang of friends to set upon us.

…Are you, by chance, a fast runner?

ok ok, a group of tanks arranged into a ring with a squadron of navy SEALS… and a pair of F16’s flying overhead…

hmm… i used to run the mile (best time = 6 minutes 19 sec) and the 800. best time for sprint = 75 m in 7.2 sec or around 23 mph. why?

Crap. She’d catch up with me first then. I’d probably have to seduce her to come out of the confrontation alive.

i’ve gotta go, cira (ironic that i sleep before you and ur 3 hour time lapse). good night (parents hollering at me). dream of fire ants and long-distance running guys! ;)

c-ya tomorrow (or later today for you)

Okay, goodnight!

aha yes snow day :P

Hey Paper Crane! Last day of vacation… ):

My dad is so sick today… He got what I had earlier in the week, but of course, he has it a lot worse. He got terribly dizzy earlier and blacked out for a second… ):

I think that warrants a visit to the emergency room, cira…

Today was practically torture. All day, I had a song stuck in my head, but I don’t have it on my mp3, so it’s not like I could listen to it during class or anything. I propose a new form of torture: force a prisoner to listen to a really good pop song for hours on end, and then, without warning, stop the track midway through the song. After about half-an-hour of repeating the chorus over and over and over in their head, the prisoner would break down and practically beg for their captor to turn the song back on so that they can listen to it.

Lesson of the story, pop songs are like cocaine: you always need another hit(listen).
