Cornell II (Globalization), UT Austin (Africa and Hollywood), UMich (Environment), Cornell I (Caribbean Dialogs)

Environment, baby. I think that regarding Cornell I, most everyone here either had it as first choice or as last - kind of a “love me or hate me” seminar topic. Did anyone have UT Austin last?

Hey Porna! What’s up? Enjoy your leap day?

actually Cornell I (Caribbean Dialogs) was my third choice. I wasn’t too sure how to feel about that program. Since it is internet based, i just imagined bunch of teenagers around computers all day… but seeing TASP, it wouldn’t be just that… hmm

UT Austin is one for me. movies, politics, arts, what else can i wish for?

garr i do hope i get in… so how many people in cc have applied, do you guys know… ?

Morning, everybody. I’m off to work in about half an hour, but until then, i thought I would get some internets time in.
Mistofolis, there are about 139 posters on this board according to boardreader.com. I’d say about ten of those are TASP Alumni who posted on this thread to check out the next generation. (:
So, all together, I’d bet about 130 people from CC have applied to TASP.

Yeah, I was a little apprehensive about the whole blogging aspect of the Cornell I seminar, but seeing as it’s TASP, I quickly got over it. (:

if i get an interview im gonna ask if it would be us blogging ( which doesnt seem right since i dont think we would know enough to put any significant information down ) or us reading blogs related to the caribbean. that would make more sense since i know there are tons of websites out there for all cultures and stuff. but i dont have a laptop… wonder if that would be a problem lol.

Uuugghhh…

I get scared just by looking at pictures of mites and lice. And ever since I got a dog, my paranoia just went x1000000000. I always think her dandruff is lice.

And just one more week until we know if we got interviews.

I got an interview. the email came yesterday

I swear to god btw.

Gahhh! Interviews are making me dangerously close to spontaneous combustion. I couldn’t remember which of my e-mails I put on the application, so I checked both, and…

There was absolutely nothing in either of them. Thanks a lot. 1.6 years off my life span for nothing.

WHAT?!

Erhabe!
How did you get an email? And most of the others didn’t?

Did you email them first?

Just so you know, lovelies, Porna will not be here this evening. Porna will be off gallavanting in a rollerskating ring with her strange friends. Good luck with avoiding spontaneous combustion over interview stress.

Oh God, why are they telling people before we can call? That’s just mean.

Erhabe, are you in the Seattle area? The other one who got notification already was…

Yea. im in the PNW

That probably explains it then. I can stop freaking out a bit now…

ahh why would they start in the west. im gonna be checking my email religiously now.

The other one said that Ellen Baer was just going to be in the area mid-March, and I suppose she just wanted to give them more than a week’s heads up.

I swear, this week, I am going to get super fit sprinting to the phone every single time it rings…

ahh the paranoia. i have got to tell my mother to answer all phone calls no matter what they say…or i will die of disbelief

maybe elmo got his email…

I’ve already warned the folks to do so.

He hasn’t been around that much this week. I wonder what he’s up to. Raging at things and making gun noises?

haha. i wish… actually its been SAT crazy this week. i haven’t gotten my letter or e-mail tho’. and listening to state basketball on the radio. r u from washington erhabe?

seriously, if my brain was a battery, it would have exploded from that test…
