Only if they were lactose intolerant or wink. So maybe there should be different branches of philosophy for the mentally handicapped/freakish about their pizza preferences?

Theosophy for Dummies?Or for the pizza freaks, An Introduction to PostMozzarellern Neo-Platonism…

Are most of you guys post-modernists or something?

I’m pondering what buffalo cheese would taste like.

Thank you, Classik, for introducing me to an idea as complex and though-provoking as Theosophy right before bed time. Now I’ll be up for at least another hour researching. ):

The Pizza thing was me poking fun at Cira’s serious philosophy question, wink. It came from my brain.

I just keep using post-modernism because its the first one that jumps off the top of my head…

make some and find out. (directed at the buffalo cheese question)

I really don’t know much about philosophy, so I have no idea. I just think that people should do useful things that make them happy, and build good relationships with the people around them to give them fulfillment.

^ Sounds like a humanist school of psychology.
I don’t know much about philosophy. I mostly hear terms and make up definitions for them.

i like cira’s choice. i have yet to be privy to philosophy so all the labels and talking mean little to me. i know what i want to believe in and you can call it whatever you want.

Relationships are empty caricatures that only emphasize the essential alone-ness of the soul. ;)

“I just think that people should do useful things that make them happy, and build good relationships with the people around them to give them fulfillment.”

So ignorance is bliss?

Bliss is an amazing Muse song, and that’s all there is to it =)

haha no wink, (un?) fortunately I can’t say that I have

and I’m kind of feathered about not having a nickname yet…

Ignorance is a shattered and bleeding windbreaker.

In the deepest, darkest valleys of our existence, that might be true. But relationships are essential for day to day functioning- no one can be even superficially happy if they feel superficially as well as profoundly alone.

Living a warm, productive, well-shared life is at the very least, superficially blissful on some level.

The Nick will come once you are ready for it… Or once we come up with a good one.

But what meaning can that level have, if it’s only superficial?

and what does a lack of relationships emphasize?

and who is to decide if it is superficial?

alamode nickname! Nominations?

The best relationship:
Male and female praying mantis –> sexual cannibalism
How’s that for self-actualization?
(no need to worry about my mental health; I’m joking)

alamode nickname…let me think…

Our superficial life is the life we live day to day. Think about it-how many of your friends can you say you honestly, truly and deeply like? Do you feel any of them have a deep, personal connection to you? Most of them probably don’t. You might still like them superficially, and be happy to see them and spend time with them. Just because they aren’t profoundly friends with you doesn’t mean they’re worthless.

everyone loves pie.

EDIT: welly-well, i meant for that to reply to the nickname post, but I guess it works just as well here. I stand behind my statement.
