Telluride Association Summer Program ( TASP ) 2008

Hmm…
I think I shall allow my newfound rivals to vanquish each other and take the opportunity to seize power. That is the Winkist way. I’m almost American like that, I play on both sides and yet end up on top. ;)

Well alamode, maybe you will get an interview notification (the good kind), which will make the rest of the week seem all warm and fuzzy…

donny remember the waffles??!!?? she shoved us off to aside for her precious waffles, bankroll my army donny. it will be the best move you ever made in this war for world domination.

You can’t prove ghosts aren’t real, cira. Science has yet to recognize the life cycle of the soul. As far as we know, the soul never dies.

/sarcasm

Donny, our bonds run deeper than those that could be upset by a breakfast food squabble or two. Remember the PB&J! xkcd! All the good music we’ve shared… It counts for something. Think about it. I can promise you all of Vermont at least, play your cards right and I could throw in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.

I have no interest in world domination. Probably because if I was given complete power, I wouldn’t do anything with it. (:

donny how can you open up a sandwich (meat free) shop with someone who doesn’t ingest the same carbs as you do??? it is not right! and i love xkcd, they align with me i have a ball pit. donny i will give you your favorite half of Eurasia.

You wouldn’t have to rule it, I’d be happy to put up efficient leaders there to take care of the drudgery of ruling. It could just be your stomping grounds. I’d build you a cabin in the woods locked away from the strain of modern human life to sit and meditate on humanity and your own life. Fully stocked library, pantry, anything you need really. I could even find some cute NE girls to live within walking distance of you so your need for human companionship would be met.

Policies? Hmm… I’d be big on education. The top 10% of each kindergarten or first grade class will attend special gifted schools, the rest, regular schools and then vocational tech or college if they choose to. Obviously, the usual propaganda, indoctrination of the youth, overriding of traditional cultural and biologic values in favor of the new, better Cirism. Stimulation of global economy, I’ll be a big proponent and big spender on the arts and sciences, technology and the like. No welfare, because that’s how I roll.

a real walden pond would not give him such amenities (i can give you girls if you want though, they will be pre-screened to your preference). i will give you a forest to do as you wish with. have a /real/ thoreau experience. i’ll even throw in a lifetime supply of journals and pens.

Eremon and Eber Finn, can’t you work it out?

I’m pulling an Amergin.

That book on Irish history screwed up my brain.

Hah… according to CNN, 100 million people voted in the Texas primary today.

Almost 1 million votes counted so far, and the little meter says 1% precincts reporting.

ok i’m gonna pull a TBC on you cira

so political leanings people?

Wait, what? How did 100 million people vote in the Texas primaries? There’s only like 300 million in the US.

We can’t tempt you with our pre-made paradise and other promises? Not even cookies?

Ugh, I really hate everyone in the race this year. I was a Ron Paul fan. ):

I’ve been an Obama man since the 2004 DNC.

Why so blue, cira? Paul’s still in the race…

Ugh…what the hell is Cirism?! Voodoo mysticism with a Satanic twist? Ritual virgin sacrifice? Winkism is the way to go, guys…

Earil, interesting that your focus is education…a rather socialist issue.
NO Ron Paul. Unless you want the rest of the country to economically collapse and be like Michigan. Although he is a cool guy.

Obama has the best spin machine. No question.
I liked Kucinich better. I swing from socialism to libertarianism depending on my mood.

As was I, Cira.

I’m seriously contemplating making it big in money, buying a private island, and then start my own country. Only one rule, no rules!

Yes, but the ellipsis tells all. Unless someone assassinates all the more conservative Republican politicians in the world, he’ll never get the nomination.

Huzzah! It’ll become a bastion for drug smugglers! That would suck.

Wink- Definitely some Voodoo, some sacrifice. It’ll create a better, smarter world for our children though.

funny classik, in the race and in the lead, are two seperate things.

and your both wrong. Panic Socialist Movement is the answer.

“I swing from socialism to libertarianism depending on my mood”
Best political philosophy ever.

The answer to the question, “What attempt at world domination is going to crash and burn the most painfully within the next five years?”

I like libertarianism, but I worry that it’s too rough on the edges of society sometimes. I’m big on civil liberties, small on big government and big business, big on cutting government fat and small on too much social legislation.
