I just want to be clear: the deadline IS right before the midnight that ENDS Friday (today), right? Not right before the midnight that ends Thursday (yesterday)? Because it’s 3 am Friday and mine just went in. Praise Buddha for me having no midterms tomorrow.

I think that if I get called back for an interview and then don’t get in, I might very well kill someone. I’m a Drama person, so I know about auditions, but having experienced how horrible it is to get called back for a part and then not get it doesn’t make not getting it any less horrible the 2nd, 3rd, 4th times around.

YESSSS!
I am so relieved that the deadline has been extended…
Like many of you I have had exams the past week and not a lot of time to edit.

In response to JJUYA – you can take the SATs any old time. I would recommend writing your essays, because TASP is really supposed to be one of those amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

HUGE weight off my chest. I get more time to perfect my essays, study for SAT and then head off to bed at 9PM. =] That’s the way life should be.

okay… since i have time now (i love the extension!)… ADVICE PLEASE!!! (:

i wrote my “conflict” essay about my struggle with trichotillomania, an obsessive-compulsive disorder associated with hair-pulling. i started in the 4th grade, but i was finally “cured” in the 8th grade and have been recuperating since.

do you think that they (admissions people) will consider my (somewhat psychological) issue as a negative factor and not want to accept me? i’m scared that they might think i have mental problems… EEEEK! ><

i’m seriously considering dumping the trich topic altogether…

JJUYA, I think that as long as you show your character, your ability to analyze… etc… in your essays, and that… you’ve overcome it… I think it’d be fine. good luck!
