<p>I think it is only natural that everyone that had a bad interview (in their mind) wants to believe that the Y interview is meaningless and everyone that had a great interview (again, in their mind) wants to belive that the Y interview is at least a tip.</p>
<p>D thinks she had a great interview last year and likes to think that it had some effect on the outcome, which was an EA admittance. She still gets the occassional email from her interviewer asking how she is doing and how she likes Y.</p>
<p>My thoughts - don’t get too wrapped up in whether or not it is a big deal in the Y approval process, just go in, be yourself and be positive as to why you think Y is the place for you.</p>
