I can buy that theory, knowing the level of freaking anxiety it would cause if you let 90% in but the other 10% had to wait…
She got quite a few PSA options but none appeal. She has 5 other acceptances, 4 with merit, 2 of those with outstanding programs in her major that we’re focusing on. And we’re discussing PTA. It will come down to whether she wants a four year traditional experience out of state or a year to wait until she becomes a 4th generation Aggie.

At Aggieland Saturday, the Blinn Team Rep said “by March 1”. I remember it clearly because that was Feb 11 and we were hoping for a mid-Feb decision like in past years.
I optimistically hoped he meant all 3 choice Blinn Team decisions would be out by then, but it now appears we’ll have none till then.
We’ve stopped checking Howdy. Too stressful!

That lines up with the option notification so that makes sense. We were hoping they would start releasing the TEAMS only acceptances in mini-tranches ahead of that. It’s out of our control at this point, so we patiently wait and do our best to research housing options off campus.

My consolation is that March 1st is next Friday. 10 days. We can do this.

Hello! I just got my PSA response on Monday, is it safer to respond right away or can I wait til later April to respond? Does it affect anything if I wait longer? Is there a way that I can figure out what schools are open to me without responding yes to PSA?
Hi all, been lurking for some time and thought I would officially say hello! We are from Austin and our youngest of 3 received her 3 options on 1/27 like the rest and we have been patiently waiting along with you all. My husband is an Aggie, Class of ‘93 and has been less patient with his alma mater than I. 
We began looking at apartments online this weekend but are truly hoping for the dorm experience. Our oldest graduated from OU and is currently in grad school there and our middle is a senior at OU- both had the best dorm experience (even during Covid)! Would love to be added to the group communication once we hear.
Guess we wait…

Yes, you can wait til the deadline given to you. And you can click on psa school offers without it being an acceptance. No worries on that.

I hope this means that there is plenty of room in the TEAM program? Hopefully it’s a positive sign that these are now rolling out before the March 1st date!

First… are you sure? Second, did they get their 7 tabs today or did they get a Whoop you’ve been admitted to TEAM/Rellis?

Hrmm…maybe something lost in translation or classification here…it would make 0 admission sense to broadly admit waitlist+team choices to Team Blinn over all Team only.
Not saying they couldn’t have been in a certain major or grouping that made them special, but “multiple friends who did the same thing got the same thing, that no one else on the internet is talking about” seems bizarre.
Exactly, otherwise why offer it to begin with? obviously everyone would choose to take full admit over team. It definitely isn’t a gotcha scenario either. They give the team only option so they know how to place students where they will be happy to accept the offer.
but crazier things have happened.
I mean if you have too many overall that are in the bucket and you have to re-rank them to allow the number you can…I get that. Totally. But a broad brush to include only those who chose both paths?
Perusing here, Reddit, and Facebook I’m not seeing anyone mention they got in with those choices. I’m willing to bet that bucket is nearly as fervently addicted to checking as we are, and it would’ve made some waves.
I’m a newbie but this doesn’t smell right.
