<p>If you have an LOA the academy will find a nomination source for you. There are many <em>sources</em> of nomination that an academy can find if you need one…essentially, a nomination is the legal hurdle a candidate must pass to gain an appointment; in a sense, it is a ticket to play the game. However, an LOA is like having the other coach’s playbook…it is a huge advantage for you because the academy is showing that they want you; thus, a nomination is more easily acquired.</p>
