@AllThisIsNewToMe , we will be returning from Austin/San Antonio and a stop after that. Wanted to stay another night South of the Metroplex to break up the drive.
To all, I have been to Waco many times and know its charms and limitations. Unfortunately all the homes from the show are two or more nights, as is the Cotton Palace, at least for the dates we need. Sigh. It’s hard to show out of state friends the charm of Texas.
