Text books for AP European History

Thats exactly wht MEH is!

For my AP Euro class, we used The History Of Western Society. The textbook overall was really dense, but informative. I remember reading somewhere that the book puts too much emphasis on social issues and I’d have to agree. The only good thing is that that might help you on the FRQs. Along with my textbook and great teacher I had the PR review book. I didn’t start reviewing until a week and a half before the exam and I wished I had started earlier. Anyways, I got a 4, which is pretty good.

I like Spielvogel, Jackson J’s books. Also for a study guide, you should choose REA. REA is very extensive and teaches you the material that will almost definitely make it onto the AP exam. Also, REA has a crash course which helps you summarize the course and understand key points that will come up in the FRQs. Also, REA has many different pointers and they link connections between all the various events that occur which will help you succeed in the FRQs of Euro.
