<p>I’ll 4th the ThinkPad. I’m an engineer and it works wonderfully for me.</p>
<p>Dells don’t have the same level of quality, and unless you want to dual boot to run engineering software, don’t get a Mac. Most people are just getting them because Apple’s trendy, anyway. If you’re one of those people, I would strongly advise against it.</p>
