<p>I finished my freshman year of college a week ago. I still have a 10PM curfew for weeknights and 12AM for weekends. When I got home she started freaking out because my room was too messy. She then wanted me to clean out my desk drawers. In one of them I have some cigars, cigarettes, and lighters so you can guess that I don’t want her looking through that drawer. She started freaking out when I refused to start organizing my crap at 10 oclock at night. she left me alone but I guarantee that I;ll have to clean them tomorrow.</p>

<p>I have a feeling that I’ll be one of those people that doesn’t talk to their parents for years at a time. But I don’t think my mother would let that happen. Sigh.</p>
<p>There are times that I don’t like my parents… but for the most part, they are pretty lenient. Once I turn 18 (8 more days!), I won’t have a curfew (I’ll only have to be home at “a reasonable time” i.e. 3 or 4). As long as they know where I’m going, I can basically go wherever I want (Ohio State, other college, cities a few hours away, etc.). I like them.</p>
