The Cafe Watering Hole

I doubt she’s coming here to northwest Ohio. There’s nothing here.

[2008 NJCL Convention](http://www.njcl.org/activities/2008/convention/default.asp)

Sigh.

Ew. Ew ew ew. No. You can’t go to Miami.

I had friends who went there.

JB, I’m from Libya…every single one of my relatives live there ;)

^I know. Hence the smirk.

I wish I had foreigners for family. But my lame family has been in the US for the past 6 generations, so no one knows about any long-lost German cousins or anything.

My family has been in the US since the 1600s. I guess technically it wasn’t the US back then, but yeah. They lived in NC. I guess I was destined to go to Duke.

I don’t really have a choice, run. Besides, I get to go for free. And I want to go to college.

So.

There’s really nothing around Miami either. But it’s on my college list, because I will be shocked if it isn’t free for me to go there, and Ohioans think it’s just the best college ever.

Honestly, Miami is probably my least favorite school in the world.

I dislike it even more than UMich and UNC. That’s saying a lot.

It’s not at the top of my list (of course), but I’m going to need a cheap education, so it has to be an option. The sad thing is that I can’t even convince my parents to visit the colleges in Ohio (I have 5 on my list), because “Gas is too expensive now, and we can’t take off work.”

Gas has been expensive for the last 35 years. Does anyone honestly think it will change? Just SHUT UP ABOUT THE GAS PRICES.

Wow, the CC clock is definitely 3 minutes ahead of every clock in my house, including the atomic ones.

CC is playing tricks on my computer.

Aww, I killed the watering hole. 8 minutes with no posts.

I googled backpacking through Europe. Huh.

Miami is pretty, but the people there are just. >.<

For the most part (obviously, it’s not everyone) they are uber-competitive people who tried to get into better schools, but didn’t. And then they try to get people to believe that Miami is as good as Duke, Cornell, UChicago, Columbia, etc.

From a Canadian point of view, isn’t it weird that the university of Miami is in Ohio? But, anyways, we moved on from here 5 posts ago.

Sometimes I lie.

A lot of times I lie.

I’ll just be hangin’ with the classics nerds. I really don’t want to go, but I don’t really have a choice at this point.

I never lie. ever.

I just decided I’m going to be rich. All that’s left is to decide how it’s going to happen.
