The Cafe Watering Hole

No, no. Mine is amazing and it’s only 6 months old. This is ridiculous. I never had issues with my old, ghetto one, and I had it for like three years.

send it in…

If it’s only six months old, it has to be under some kind of warranty. Just send it into the company.

Everything. Is. Going. To. Be…
All. Right.

GIGGLES!

Lmao.

Ugh I don’t wannnnt to. I like to fix things on my own. I don’t like this. Uggh.

I called the guy at the importing business again, and I have some sort of an “interview” on Monday. I think I’ll stop in at my sucky old job on Monday and tell them I’ll work until Friday, and I’m done. Saturday is a zoo, so I’ll quit before then. I’ll be giving about four days more notice than most people who quit from there, though, so it’s fine (I think). I’ll be glad to quit. The best part is that I’ll no longer have to change my clothes when I get home, for fear that I’ll go to the mall and smell like beef jerky and potato salad.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager was. So sucky. My eyes hurt.

jb, you are sooo about to work for the Mob.

I want to marry into the mob. I could totally be That Wife.

I believe you.

So jolie. Tonight I was a server.

Aww, how much did you make?!

Also, my job people were supposed to call about my uniform today and they DIDN’T. I’m getting upset.

I wasn’t supposed to serve. Two people didn’t show up and this one new girl was getting overwhelmed so I just took a couple tables. I had three tables and 16 in tips. My sales were like…$125. It’s a cheap little restaurant, no food runners or busboys or anything.

Easy peasy.

That’s a good average per table though, especially for a cheap little restaurant (I know the type).

Sigh. I really wanted to work somewhere classy. Ughughugh.

When I saw $125 I was like :O!!! Hahaha, because the most I ever made in a shift was like, $85ish, and I took tons of tables that day.

Yeah, I had a table of six that was cheap, a table of 4 that left 15%, and a nice couple that left 3. It was our Expensive Buffet Type night, otherwise my sales would’ve sucked. At least I didn’t have to make any desserts.

I want to work somewhere that has busboys, omgomgomg. That would be so nice.

But I’m proud of you! Yaaay waitressing. Stop calling yourself a “server.” I hate that. lolololol.

Stop calling yourself a waitress.

I would never have to do anything if there were busboys or foodrunners. Get drinks? Make checks?

In Sevilla I ate at this super dude awesome Italian restaurant with the nicest waitress ever. My group of four left 15€ for a tip. Also, at the Big Boy near me (one of the fancier restaurants, no joke), there is this waiter that never writes down anything, and takes a few tables at a time. The coolest part is that he always gets everything exactly right. The other girls around there screw up more than at any other restaurant I’ve ever seen. I see something get spilled on people every time I’m in there.

Groups of young, well-behaved guys always tip the best. Also, happy couples.

The worst tippers are usually old people and young, teenage couples. Oh yuck.

yuck ?

My dad is a horrible tipper. He usually tips less than 10% until we yell at him for it.

lol…my friends and i tipped 2 pennies once…worst waitress ever…

I was with a friend in Spain that left a .10€ tip because the waiter was walking by and dropped a glass, and glass shards flew all over her. The waiter didn’t bother to clean it up for fifteen minutes. I left him a euro because I felt sorry he had to deal with so many Americans in one place.
