Never play scrabble against a computer. They use words normal people have never heard of. And when you challenge their word, they’re always right.

Dang computer, why you gots to be so smart in the head?

I’m finally back.

How was your very important date? Is your parka pink with purple stripes, and lime green fur? The Eskimo girls probably like that kind of confidence in a man.

Yes, the white girls of the north like all sorts of winter coats and parkas.

Second post back and already referencing The Shins?

I get my schedule in 3 days. $10 says my counselor screwed it up.

OMG ME TOO. And it will be messed up, yours and mine. Guarantee it. Imma hafta bust some caps.

I’m pretty sure mine will be messed up, because I signed up for more classes than there are periods in the day. My principal cornered me in the hallway about it last spring, and…firmly expressed…that I needed to narrow it down. Of course, I wouldn’t. I did compromise though, and I gave him a prioritized list. The thing about a small school is that the principal and the GC do all of the scheduling themselves, and they work around what the seniors want. So the schedule could very well change based on the classes I want. I don’t like the pressure.

LOL sorry about that JB.

I leave for the states in 4 days…

Have you been here before? I assume you have.

My guidance counselor couldn’t possibly mess up my schedule. The only thing that could cause problems is my silly physics/Spanish dilemma, but all of my other classes are for the IB, and IB classes are impossible to mess up.

If I went to a bigger school, my scheduling problems would be a non-issue. But at my school, classes are offered (at most) two periods per day. So scheduling conflicts pop up everywhere.

I just finished writing my first college essay. It’s too wordy, too long, and it probably doesn’t make sense to anyone but me. But it’s a start. I figure I’ll leave it to stew for a day or two and then see if I can’t fix it. I need to look to see how many different essays I have to write. My fall could be very busy this year.

Trust me JB, scheduling is worse at big schools. My GC has 109 kids and 67 had conflicts, it took me two hours to see her last time I went in.

Blahblah schedule high school blahblah.

I take my leave, Cafe-ers. Thanks for the support, stalking, and sarcasm. lolololol. It seems all of you know how to find me if need be. But for real, don’t show up at my door unannounced. I won’t be pleased.

For serious.

Byeeee!

Peace out home skillet.

Have fun in Walla Walla.

This is a big deal.

You will be sorely missed, missy.

hi, i miss you people.

Edit: wait joli is leaving?

epicness…you should write a goodbye in your aska jolie a question thread

Terrible, this is.

Ha! I just looked at the clock and it said 22:22:22. I feel so lucky right now.

The CC clock is insanely ahead, by the way.

24-hour clocks are so annoying.
